How to Stop a Condensing Unit From Running Too Fast

This article will discuss a new condensing unit that was just purchased that was causing your hot water to run too fast and cause damage to your pipes and such. I have had this exact same thing happen to me where the water would boil and the condensing unit would cut off and the water would just not turn off and on. It seems like a simple enough problem but it really is a big pain.

I do not know if it is possible to get rid of the condensing unit or not. I have tried it in different rooms of my house but could not get it to work in one area. The best thing that I can think of is the idea of switching the thermostat to “cool” which would actually cool the water inside the unit. I am pretty sure that is the best way to go because it would keep the unit from running as fast. What ever the case is you need to check your unit and see if it is the cause of your problems. Usually if you have a malfunctioning condensing unit then you will have to check and clean out your pipes and get it fixed.

Something that I have noticed that may help you to keep the water from running too fast in your home is to put a filter on your hot water heater. If you do not have one then I would recommend getting one or I am sure it would be inexpensive.
