How to Keep Your Condenser and Compressor Running Properly

When your compressor and condenser first start up, there are a couple things that need to be kept in mind. While it’s not uncommon for them to work fine and be able to function properly, there can be problems that may occur which may require a replacement of the parts in question.

The first thing to keep an eye on is the amount of air pressure in the air. You will want to make sure that you have at least the right amount of pressure in your air tank, as well as your compressor. Many compressors come with a built-in gauge that shows you the amount of air pressure that is present in the tank. This is great if you want to ensure that your compressor is operating properly, but if you don’t have this type of gauge, you should get one to help you out. To do so, just look through your manual, or even go online and purchase a gauge. You should also make sure that all the necessary pieces of equipment for the compressor are installed properly. If these aren’t done properly, then you’ll have a lot of trouble with your compressor in the future.

The next thing to keep an eye out for with your condenser and compressor is how clean the part is after you’ve used it. This is a very important factor, as cleaning these components on a regular basis will keep your compressor running properly. It’s best to do this on a regular basis, as they will get dirty much easier, and then you won’t have to worry about running out of air to fill it. As far as cleaning goes, you can use warm water and a soft cloth to clean the parts. When you’re cleaning the air lines, you should use only a cloth that is oil-free. This is so the cleaner doesn’t cause any damage to the plastic. This is also a good idea when it comes time to cleaning out your compressor, as the plastic can get damaged when water spills on them.
